THE BLACK FOREST

My series “The Black Forest” is concerned with developing a mysterious mutual relation between human and nature.

In this series I use charcoal on canvas to create works that have a spirit of independent genuine material. These works show that the charcoal can be used to create an exquisite work that is not inferior to another artistry using other materials.

For me, the figure is a preface to move a great energy of nature. When the charcoal works, and passes on canvas ; the lines and points are transfer into the trees, the grass, the rain, the clouds, the wind, etc.

My works in “The Black Forest” look into an individual's own soul rather than just describe the marvels of nature. This is a dark but fascinating corner, filled with the unspoken inmost secrets, in the human's spiritual.
